In 1991, Ranya Kelly founded the non-profit Redistribution Center, Inc.  The Redistribution Center (RCI) was the realization of Ranya's mission to redistribute new, unsold items to community members in need.  This volunteer-run organization partners with retailers, community groups and individuals to provide food, household goods, clothing, furniture, and other basic necessities to families and individuals.

Ranya began assisting those impacted by the events of September 11 in 2001.  In early 2002 her son was accepted to the United States Military Academy at West Point and this began her new awareness of those serving in the military and it also brought new friendships and acquaintances with other military parents.  Today many of the volunteers are other military parents and veterans.  Ranya and the other volunteers are devoted to serving members of the military and their families, providing care packages to troops overseas and making certain that their families at home have the resources and support that they need.  The Redistribution Center has a facility at at Fort Carson called Warriors Warehouse - Fort Carson where volunteers serve over 1,000 soldiers every month.

In addition to meeting day-to-day needs, Ranya and her organization step up in the wake of disasters to provide immediate and long-term assistance.  Ranya’s leadership, drive, and compassion have reverberated throughout her community to touch many lives, and her impact is immeasurable.
